We are proud to have recently sponsored the Belong Villages Annual Achievement Awards.

Not-for-profit organisation,Belong Villages, is a pioneer in the Care sector, having launched its village concept as a model for ground-breaking dementia care long before dementia care villages or integrated retirement communities were a thing.

The Annual Achievement Awards saw a record-breaking 550+ entries, across 12 categories. After receiving nominations from the organisation’s customers, relatives and colleagues, a panel of independent judges determined winners from a final shortlist, with the results revealed at an evening gala at The Queen at Chester Hotel, earlier this year. All were presented with a handmade ceramic trophy,designed by Belong customer, Alma Worthington, as part of a creative competition for the occasion.

Karl Cundill, Chief Operating Officer at LitmusFM, who attended the evening gala, shared: “This was the first time we sponsored theBelong awards and we were thrilled to have been invited. The innovative work they do for people in later life and the communities they create, is inspiring.

“We supported Belong Villages with Facilities Management Consultancy support in 2023 and 2024, which included a review and survey of their assets, the completion of a tender, and also overseeing a programme of capital replacement works – so became familiar with the work they do.

“It was a fantastic evening, where the winners from across the region were able to be celebrated and recognised for the great work they have done.”
